Kubota To Introduce Its First Diesel Over 100 HP

Kubota Engines, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of diesel engines below 100 hp, is expanding its lineup to now include engines up to 200 hp. The first model in this expansion is the Kubota 09 Series is the 5-liter V5009, scheduled to be on display in booth #S84912.

While production of the V5009 will not begin until 2020, Kubota said it plans to have all engineering and supply work completed ahead of the upcoming emissions standards.

Kubota said the new four-cylinder V5009 will be Tier 4 final and EU Stage 5 ready, with an output of 157.3 kW and aftertreatment devices including a diesel particulate filter (DPF) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR). The engine will also feature a variety of power take off options for accessories such as hydraulic pumps.
